He walked the streets and spoke to all never ignoring, never scorning he walked the streets all alone with nowt but his faith and his own immense sufferings hidden deep and away from prying eyes. The sun rose, the sun set, the rains fell the rains went, the wind blew, the leave fell and the trees bent. Still he walked alone in faith with his own sufferings hidden deep and away from prying eyes. Heart bursting with love, body racked with pain. He walked alone befriending, feeding and offering his wisdom to the homeless, the addict, the old, the hungry, the broken, the lost, the shop assistant, the security guard, the policeman, the street cleaner, the gardener and all those whom walked, rested and lived alone too. Yes he walked alone in faith with his own sufferings hidden deep within and away from prying eyes. The shattered dreams, the wasted years, travelling here, there far and wide, the many losses, the many illnesses and the many diseases, he walked alone in faith with his own sufferings hidden deep and away from prying eyes. An enigma and invisible benefactor he walked alone in faith with his own sufferings hidden deep and away from prying eyes. A smile, a cheery hello with the self-awareness and innate compassion to give of his time to the disheveled, to the disabled, the priest, vicar and all who crossed his path as he walked alone in faith with his own sufferings hidden deep and away from prying eyes. That is the life of the crucified one, indeed the one who truly knows that he is not of this world. The one who loves the lowly, the living and the dying. Indeed the one who loves all those who hate him and those who seek to cause him great harm as he walks alone in faith with his own sufferings hidden deep and away from prying eyes. Have you met the one who walks alone in faith with his own sufferings hidden deep and away from prying eyes dear soul? For he is there always ready and waiting to lift your heart and inspire your soul. And all you need to do is embrace him, love him and invite him into your heart, as he walks alone in faith with his own sufferings hidden deep and away from prying eyes. A man like no other and yet still consumed by mortal frailties, weaknesses and shadows as he walks alone in faith with his own sufferings hidden deep and away from prying eyes. So I urge you dear reader to look for this man in all of your current, future and inner world undertakings. But know this when you commit to that search. He’s not out there play acting amidst the thronging nonsense of the temporal world like some bit part me, me wannabe. The truth is he’s actually out there in the world within you and speaking to you right now dear soul. For like you he is walking along the very same soul path as you dear soul and he’s walking in faith alone. Indeed the very embodiment of the living and breathing whole. With his own sufferings hidden deep and away from prying eyes. That is why those who do choose to walk with and like the son of man in faith alone with their own sufferings hidden deep and away from prying eyes for the glory of all. Truly come to know that loving and serving in faith alone is the way of our soul, for; “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” ~ Isaiah 43:2 KJV.
